The 2379 was designed as a multi-purpose cable for use as an RCA cable , XLR balanced cable , microphone cable , guitar cable , etc. It had a two-core shielded structure using HiFC conductors for the signal lines.
Since HiFC copper wire is no longer in production, we are no longer able to produce the same cable, but we have begun designing cables using the few remaining HiFC copper wires.
The unique low frequencies of HiFC are difficult to achieve with other copper wires, so I wondered whether a successor model could be made...
